The meeting of the Planning Commission of Franklin Township, held in the 
Township office, was called to order at 1900 hours.  Present were Hugh 
Crandall, Dwight Miller, Dennis Howard, the Board of Supervisors and 
consultant Tom Graney.

VISITORS/PUBLIC COMMENT
No comments from those who were present.

MINUTES
Crandall moved to accept the minutes of 9/2/08 as presented.  Howard 
seconded.  Carried.  No quorum for the 10/7/08 meeting.

David Knight arrived at 1903 hours.

OLD BUSINESS
SALDO Rewrite – no additional comments on the draft SALDO.

Zoning Ordinance Rewrite – draft copy was received and is being reviewed.

NEW BUSINESS
Appointee to the Joint Planning Commission with Washington Township, 
Edinboro Borough and Franklin Township – a member of the Board of 
Supervisors, Planning Commission and staff are needed to serve on the joint 
planning commission.  Dennis Howard volunteered to serve as the Township’s 
Planning Commission representative.  Thank you, Dennis.

Zelina Sketch Plan – nothing new to report.
